Compaq Proliant 3000 Fan failure
Hi,
Unfortunately we got a fan failure on old compaq server. We have tried to order a new fan with following part-number: 306576-001 without success. My questions is following:
We have two options:
1: Is it possible to bypass the fan failure?? I have tried F10 several times without success. Know for sure the heatis not the problems. It must be a sensor on the fan that rapport/sense the failure.
2: The simplest solutions is to buy a new fan. Delivery time is 1 to 2 months, and we want to boot/use the server as soon as possible
Hope someone could give me som valuable hints?? Thanks in advance
