Compaq Proliant 6000. Disk array 18.0 gb is not detecting.

Hi guys.

My DIsk Array of 9.1 was failure and the server toldme that I need to replaced. I replaced with new 18.0 gb but the server doesn't detect that drive. When I get another 9.1 the server was working fine.. I would lkike know why my server can no t kae more then 9.1 GB.. DO I need to update something o what? Please any Help I will be aprecciate.

Hello Eddy,
Please update the system BIOS as well as the firmware of array controller. Just be warned that you would have to create another logical drive with the balance of 9.1GB since the array will recognize 9.1 only. Here is the link to update BIOS:
