Compaq Proliant 800

Need to replaced system board for the above. It's running on PII 350Mhz, 256 MB of RAM ; However, it seems that the service guide I downloaded from Compaq website hv a different model of chasis architecture although I did downloaded two model (both Proliant 800).

Below is the URL link where I download my service guide from :

I've tested to removed the system board by myself but find it very difficult. Help of any kind would be really appreciated.

Re: Compaq Proliant 800

I've managed to get it done after almost dismantle the whole unit.

Actually, it's very simple as you've just unscrewed all the connector connection (Serial, Parallel and also SCSI port) at the back of the server.

The board is a little bit different from all the system board service guide that I managed to find online.

Anyway, Thnks for the help and really appreciate it.
