Compaq Proliant ML370 -- Can't Boot from CD

When I insert the "Compaq SmartStart v4.70" cd that came with the server or the "Windows Server 2003" all I get is the message "Error loading operatin system".

Try Setting the system boot options as
1 st boot cdrom
2 nd boot a:
3 rd boot hard drive.

What i am thinking is that if you are trying to boot the server with compaq smart start then you should definately get error related to smart start. you are getting error of win2003 that means that it tries to boot with the cd rom but could not so it tried to boot with hard drive on which win2003 was installed but now it is not there due to some corruption or some files are deleted.

Thanks... the problem was the CD-ROM hardware, installed another drive and everyting is ok now.
