Compaq Proliant ML370 G1, the power button does not function
Hello,
I have an issue with my Compaq Proliant ML370 G1, the power button does not function, when I connect to AC is Powers ON and I don't need to push the button, and to Power OFF I need to disconnect the System from Power Source. Even holding the Power Button PUSHED it does not power OFF.
And this since I have deleted the config with the SmartStart CD-ROM and reconfigured everything.
Else the system runs perfect.
Thanks
Alain

Re: Compaq Proliant ML370 G1, the power button does not function
Hi there,
Looks like some issue with power button assembly and that needs to be replaced. Howeve, before you replace any components try the following:
- you may check the Power Button in RBSU (F9 during post) to ensure it is not disabled.
- Press and Hold the Power button for more than 5-10 sec and see if it goes off.
- open the casing and check for any loose connection.
Hope this helps,
How to Say thanks..Click on Star Kudos!
Cheers!
Ali
