Compaq System Management Driver

can anybody help me out with this error The Compaq System Management Driver has detected that the
system encountered an uncorrectable system error prior to
this boot.

You need to check the NT Event Viewer for more information... The error is NOT produced by the System Management Driver, but merely reported/passed on by it.
