Compatibility between SinglePort SAS and DualPort SAS

Hi everyone!
I couldn't find the info about compatibility SP and DP in one array and in one disk group (i'm talking about server raid adapter like p400, p800, etc) - can they be mixed or not?

Re: Compatibility between SinglePort SAS and DualPort SAS

hi

yes they can
basically Dual ported are more expensive that's it in fact the p400 - p800 don't provide any advantage if you use dual ported HDDs since dual ported were created for real Storage Subsystems not for normal servers
