Compatibility issue between COMPAQ and HP VRM's

Hello all,

I have a question - a VRM designed for HP, named HP P/N: 119357 can be used on a COMPAQ machine? Are the VRM's the same on both brands? I have a COMPAQ AP500 with 1 processor P III-500Mhz and another spare processor, but no VRM for it.

So, practically, is the HP VRM 119357 compatibile with the COMPAQ VRM 329267-001 ?

Hi Julian,

You don't want to take a chance on your processor, it best the correct part as per server spec

I have View both parts pictures, they don't look the same by design.
