Is there any issues with the Compaq 29160 Ultra3 Scsi controller with the ML530G2?

Are you talking about the 64-Bit/66-MHz Dual Channel Wide Ultra3 SCSI Adapter, pn 129803-B21? Or the single channel card, pn 154457-B21?

Both of these adapters are supported and should work fine. What kind of problem are you having?

Trying to connect an Overland Robotic tape library system to the ML530G2 using the single channel 29160. The 29160 is being seen by W2k fine but I am receiving an event ID 9, the device, adpu160m did not respond within the timeout period.
