Configuration power supply on ML530
Hi
I have two power supply on ML530 but if i disconnect one and start the server i received the following message
1615 Power supply configuration Error.
Your configuration requires an additional power supply.
Waiting for another power supply to be inserted ....
if i disconnect one when the server is on i get the same message.
Where and how i can change the configuration for get a redundant configuration of power supply (if one get down the other to take over)
Maybe it's a physical connection which determine the configuration.
Thank for your help and excuse my english

Re: Configuration power supply on ML530
I suppose that you have ML530G1.
In such servers:
"Additional power supply required if a second optional drive cage is installed. A third power supply required for redundancy when the optional drive cage is installed."
I think you have 2 power supplies and two drive cages.
regards,
Andrzej Kowalik
