Configure ML110 for RAID 1 after OS already installed
Hi All,
We received the ML110 pre-installed with SBS2003. It was the one with the 2 SATA 80GB drives.
We want to be able to configure it up for RAID 1 and have done so through BIOS, now it wont boot.
We went into the RAID Setup and started a manual rebuild of the Drives. In speaking to HP they say that it is "Procedure" to re-install the OS after changing it to RAID 1.
We are sitting here waiting for the drives to rebuild and I know its going to take about 12 hours to do it all, but has anyone else been through the same as us, if so did the re-build work? Or did you have to re-install the OS.
Thanks

Re: Configure ML110 for RAID 1 after OS already installed
When you purchase the machine it would be in a JBOD mode.
Have tried a few times, you cannot change from JBOD to RAID config w/o reinstall of the OS completely.
Also, there's a new firmware if its ML110 g3 - please update the firmware and attempt to reinstall - should be fine.
Post if any issues....
