Configure Proliant ML150 G3 server
Obviously this server model is not supported by a smartstart install. Anybody got any special recommendations?
Is it a case of configuring the Array controller/logical drives during the BIOS stage then popping in the windows CD.
And is it an option to install a PSP afterwards?
Thanks

Re: Configure Proliant ML150 G3 server
Its the E200 controllor.
The server doesn't have a floppy but i can always conect an external one via the usb port.
Cheers

Re: Configure Proliant ML150 G3 server
ok e200
the situation is this
you need to create the RAID level pressing F8 after that install Windows manually the OS will ask you about a driver for the controller E200 you need to use your usb floppy lo load it (at this point if the flppy does not work is because you need a usb floppy drive HP branded)
if that works go ahead with the installation
if not the other option is to create a CD adding the driver for the controller E200

this using nlite
check the attached file for the explanation
