Configuring ML370G5 Proliant as Oracle DB Server

Greetings,
Hi guys, after much thought, we have decided to use ML370G5 as our new Oracle DB Server running on Win2003 Ent OS.
We would like to configure 3 Raid configuration with 3 different array controller card.
So far, i only know that 370G5 supported 2 disk cage (in 2 different controller). Can i add in a 3rd controller and connect to a different Raid set? Eg.
1) Raid 1 - Two hard disk -> P600 Smart Array
2) Raid 2 - Two hard disk -> P600 Smart Array
3) Raid 0+1 - 6 Harddisks -> P600 Smart Array

Can i do so? If not this proliant svr, then what model allow me to have such configuration. Thanks

No, only one cage per SmartArray controller so two P600 max. But one SmartArray controller can support several RAID-volumes. So you can do raid 1, raid 5 -> first SmartArray, raid 1+0 -> second SmartArray (raid 2 not supported). There is no advantages to have three controller, one per RAID logical volume - no availability benefit, no performance benefit. But if you, in any case, want have three RAID-controllers you have option to install tertiary controller and connect external MSA 50 enclosure (up to ten SAS SFF HDDs).
