Re: Connect SmartArray P800-Controller with StorageWorks D2600
Yeah. That´s what I´ve read myself.
My question was, if it does work. Has the P800 not the same connection like the P812?
The only differcence I`ve seen was that the P800 only works with 3Gbit sata (P812 with 6Gbit sata) and has only 2 external connectors (P812 = 4).
We have actually an DL380G5 Storage Server with P800 Controller and wanna upgrade our DAS from a MSA70 to D2600 - and we don´t buy additionally a new controller.

Re: Connect SmartArray P800-Controller with StorageWorks D2600
It could be firmware differences and revision differences from P800 to P812. HP will want one of the supported controllers. So get the P812 and try it. HP is picky.
