Connectivity issue on DL 380
Hi All,
i have been having an issue for 2 days now
i experienced an issue with my NIC teaming, after a reboot i was unable to ping my server. i broke the team and the server was assigned a new ip. i downloaded the latest nic drivers and the latest teaming software and all seems fine with the teaming. BUT NOW its seems DNS keeps reverting back to the incorrect IP. i have created a reservation on dhcp and set the IP as static on the team. it works fine for about an hour but then you cant ping the server, when pinging the server you get time outs from the incorrect ip. i have used ipconfig /registerdns but i get an error in eventvwr saying its unable to register PTR. i read up that it could be an issue with a manually created PTR??? any help please :)
