Controller logical disks vs. Windows volumes
In general, is it better to create a single array with one logical disk (on the controller) and let Windows carve up the disk into multiple volumes (partitions) or is it better to create a single array with multiple logical disks using the Array Configuration Utility on the controller card? Thanks!

Re: Controller logical disks vs. Windows volumes
Hello Darin,
It's a matter of personal choice but the option 2 would be better since you will have more control as to what you would like to do with a particular logical drive in case something gets corrupted without affecting the others.
