Convert Proliant ML110 G4 raid 1 to raid 10

I’ve got a HP Proliant ML110 G4 raid1 server with Windows Server 2003 Small Business Edition. It has two 160G Seagate hard drives, however, it is running out space, so I bought two new Western Digital 500G drives.
Since it uses the HP embedded SATA RAID Controller, it seems that I cannot simply swap one drive each time and rebuild Raid1 to replace the old one:
See here: http://forums11.itrc.hp.com/service/forums/questionanswer.do?admit=109447626+1233193674129+28353475&threadId=1303536

Therefore, what about if I add the new hard drive rather than replace the old ones? I believe it will be a Raid 10.
Currently, the system has two partition C and D, Should I be able to firstly move all the stuff in D to the new hard drive, and merge C and D as C. Finally, rename the partition on the new hard drive as D. Would it work?

Thanks in Advance.
