Converting a DL360 from SFF to LFF drive bays

I'm interested in a DL360 for my home lab, but most of the servers I see for sale are configured for SFF drives. I believe (sure I've seen them) that it is possible to configure the DL360 for LFF drives, however these are much rarer on the user market, and considerably more expensive. Is it possible to 'convert' a server with SFF trays to take LFF drives?

Hi,

To convert drive cage from SFF to LFF or vice versa you will have to check the quickspecs and the option parts list for the particular model. Please check what is the generation of the server and depending on this information it will be possible to check the drive cage conversion options.
