Creating "hot spare" for dl380

Greetings, I'm an intern and I've been assigned to the network division here at my worksite. The problem they requested me to find out regards creating a "hot spare" for the server. We have the servers running unity 4.0.4 for unified messaging. Currently, the primary drive has been mirrored for stability. What they want is to have a "hot spare" incase one of the hard drives fail, i would greatly appreciate if someone can help out with this problem. thanks.

Install drive to server open ACU modify and add new drive as Online spare to array
