Critical Server Error
I have a ML530 G2 with Netware 6.5 SP1.1 loaded. I loading the Netware Agent from a Backup Exec Windows server. During the one time backup last night, the Server crashed, and rebooted during the backup. The management log shows the error "ASR Detected by system ROM."

Re: Critical Server Error
"ASR Detected by system ROM" means that there was a problem/abend/server hang and Automatic Server Recovery rebooted the server.
The ASR driver starts a timer. As long as the OS is running this timer is reset after a short time. If the OS hangs then the timer will not be reset and after some time (configurable in system setup) the ASR hadware reboots the server.
Are there any other hints that may indicate what happened ? Like abend.log ?

Re: Critical Server Error
No there is nothing in the abend.log at all. I ran a "test run" in Backup Exec and it worked fine. The backup appears to have made it through at least half of my data before the reboot? The server is new, but has been running rock solid for three weeks.
