D 380 G9 mix size of memory

Hi

 

I have some DL 380 G9 servers with 12 x 32 GB memory modules.

The 12 empty memory slots I would like to fill up with 16 GB modules.

Can they work together if they are same speed or even if they are not?

I think I once was told that they could not.

But mybe that was in generation 8 and not 9.

Yes you can install 16GB and 32GB DIms together. Please find complete details below. Please follow the guidelines as mentioned below
