DCOM error on DL350

i have a windows 2003 STD on DL350 server, and I notice i keep getting in the event log an error :
DCOM was unable to communicate with the computer using any of the configured protocols.
That IP address is for the ILO of a different server.

I don't understand why this server trying to communicate with the ILO of a different server??

Please advise ??

Re: DCOM error on DL350

I think you may best look @ your 2003's settings. Perhaps DCOM tries to communicate with a process that has nothing to do with iLO, but tries to access some service like WINS, printing, storage and the like. Maybe there was a mistyped ip address. If all else fails, try to read out the call by using a network sniffer. Then you can see which service is requested. This should help in resolving the problem.
alles wird gut.
