DIFFICULTY IN INSTALLING WINDOWS SERVER 2008 R2 in both HP ML10 and HP ML30
Hi All,
Greetings.
I have been trying to install Windows Server 2008R2 in both HP ML10 & ML30. I have also switched to UEFI MODE and Legacy bios but I notice that as soon as it shows Windows Server 2008R2 installation window for me to click next, the key board and mouse will go off. And I cant continue with the installation. Please, how can I resolve this and install this my OS on these servers successfully?
Thanks
Chuks

Ml30 Gen9 and Ml10 Gem9 Servers, do not support Windows Server 2008 R2.

Re: DIFFICULTY IN INSTALLING WINDOWS SERVER 2008 R2 in both HP ML10 and HP ML30
Hi Chuks,
Had some difficulty with that too. HP Proliant ML10 & ML30 gen 9 and above come with USB 3.0 ports. Then, Windows Server 2008 doesn't come bundled with USB 3.0 drivers. You will have to download these USB 3.0 drivers from Intel website and import them into your Windows 2008 installation media using DISM tool.
This should solve the problem. Cheers!
