DIMMs in DL380p G8 server

Hello!

I have DL380p G8 with 64 GB RAM - on each channel one 8 GB DIMM for two processors:

Now I want to increase the RAM to 256 GB.  Can I use different DIMM in one channel?

Can there be such a situation: ((8GB+8GB+16GB - one channel) * 4 channels ) * 2 processors?

Or I'll have to install 16 DIMMs x 16 GB?

P.S. Unfortunately, I could not use Memory Configurator (http://h22195.www2.hp.com/MemoryTool/Home/SpecifyCapacity) - service does not display the existing memory.
