DL 145 G2 AMD 64 bit server

Hi ,
I am not able to install RatHat 4.0 update 4 on the server, it tells harddisk drivers not found. When i checked the controller i found the server is having SATA controller. I downloaded mptlinux-3.02.56-4.rhel4.x86_64.dd form HP wesite and boot dd option still it tells hard disk drivers not found.

Try disabling MCFG Table in the ROM Based setup.

It does not mention the No hard Drive found issue but is worth giving a try.

Sumesh has suggested the solution i have tried and it worked on one server

For other server i have to update the BIOS and the HBA driver for the same. Check with the SCSCI ID.

Make sure you are using the linux 4 with the latest update. Or else in between will keep giving you the Panic error on the server.
