DL 160 G5 and Service Release 6.6 DVD

File service slows to a crawl every few days.
HP tech support requested I run service release 6.6.

When I run the wizard it is looking for files I don't have. (PSS AiO Service Release DVD)
Apparently these are not on the DVD I downloaded. Any clues?

Hi,

The DL160 G5 Storage Server isn't listed in the supported servers for release 6.6 so I doubt that it will do you any good.

The DL160 G5 Storage Server comes with initial Release 6.7 DVD anyway. Have you been asked to restore the system back to default by HP? This DVD is only for rebuild from scratch not for any patching.

I assume this is the DL160 G5 Storage Server model you have runnning WSS 2003, not the standard DL160 G5 running Windows Server 2003.

Get back on to HP for some proper diagnosis.

Confirmed that this product was not appropriate for my hardware...
