DL 180 G5 Stops Responding

I have a Proliant DL 180 G5 server that every few days stops responding and has to be hard booted. The server can still be pinged by name and IP address so it's still up but users can't get to their shared folders and files. I don't see any error messages in Event Viewer to indicate a problem. I do see this error message at startup "510-BMC Sel is Full". Can anyone please help me with this problem? This is a domain controller running Server 2003 with all the latest patches.

Try firmware upgrade - these proliants these days seem to have more complicated firmware which has been driving us nuts as well.

Also, have you installed proliant smart agents, if so they may need upgrading or if not then it may point to something which is wrong?
