DL 180 G6 NIC's

We have a 180G6 that at this point only has one NIC active.

The server is used for a software repository and Backup (Backup EXEC server with 5 clients).

We would like to Team the NICs but the server installation was a Windows 2008 R2 install, not done by HP. trying to find the correct software or drivers on the support page does not show the "Intel 82576 Gigabit Dual Port Network".

I see other "INTEL #### Gigabit dual port" drivers and software.

The drivers that Win2008R2 installed seem to work fine but I believe I need HP software to enable the teaming.

Thanks in advance for help

Re: DL 180 G6 NIC's

I'm working on same server type today & Device Manager - Network Adapters - HP NC362i... properties, Driver tab, Driver details - the filename starts with E1Q.

I believe that the latest software for this server & 2008 R2 OS can be found at HP URL's:

Operating System: Microsoft Windows Server 2008 R2

I believe what you need to setup HP Teaming is the last item, both of those URL's linked me to files that I was able to download & install on my server.

Good luck!

Re: DL 180 G6 NIC's

I found those too, but the drivers listed and software list other NIC's not the one in my server. I really am cautious when adding drivers or software on a Production server and not having my device listed as supported on those links makes it a check it out even more.
