DL 280 G4 external video card
I do need a better Grafic Resolution for this server. I als have a external Raid Controller 6400.
Is there any possibility to desable the internal video card and put in a external. If yes, what model?

There is a dipswitch on the main board. Look at the label on the underside of the hood and see what switch it is.

Hi Zanella,
I believe it is a DL380 server (if you it is not disregard this answer)
Unlike some servers, this server has no switch on the systemboard that Allows you to disable the onboard video; however, when you put in the add on PCI video card the onboard Video should be disabled automatically.

Hi Amha
You are right, it is a DL380.
The problem is not to disable the onboard video. My problem is to find a videocard that fits in the unusual bus. It is not a PCI bus. I'm not sure if it a HP-made bus system. I'm looking for a video card that fits.
