DL 360 G3 Windows Performance Monitor problem
I have two identical DL360 G3 servers, one runs Windows 2003 Server and the other Windows 2000 Server. Both have same onboard NICs, same up to date HP NIC driver. Both systems are fully Micosoft patched. Both machines NICs are online and function within our network.
Problem is within Windows Performance Monitor:
The Windows Server 2003 machine has the network interface/NIC listed and added as a performance counter in Windows Performance Monitor, the Windows 2000 Server machine does *not* have the network interface/NIC listed within Windows Performance Monitor and cannot have this network performance counter added.
Can HP verify that the network performance counter for this onboard NIC has never worked in Windows 2000 Server?
Thanks very much.

Re: DL 360 G3 Windows Performance Monitor problem
Have you got the network monitor agent installed on that server?
(Add/Remove programs and select Add/Remove Windows Components. Then, in Management and Networking Tools, select Microsoft Network Monitor.)
