DL 360 G5 Set from image
I have set up many HP 360 and 380 servers and usually do so manually with SmartStart. I now am about to set up about 8 of the same physical servers with the same OS and a couple of apps.
I am sure this is a simple question, I just do not have the experience here. Once I get one of the servers set up (OS installed but prior to the key being entered, but OS running) and the OS updates in place (Window Server) can I simply image the OS drive and then set up subsequent servers from this image?
I realize I'd have to set up the arrays and logical drives first, but otherwise would this work?
What should I use to image the drive, and what if any steps should I be aware of when creating the installation from the image?
