DL 360 NIC Drivers

I've managed to get Windows 2008 Server (standard) installed (it was interesting to say the least) on my Compaq Proliant DL360
I now need the NIC drivers for windows server 2008 I've tried CP010995, CP009543, and CP008395 driver sets they did not work.

I'm not sure what to try next any good advice would be GREAT!

Re: DL 360 NIC Drivers

When I looked it up I found that was the NIC but I'll give you more information.

I'm using the integrated dual port that is in the machine form the factory. I guess I may be wront about what it is.

Re: DL 360 NIC Drivers

hi,

if its integrated, you will be able to download it directly form HP website.

Re: DL 360 NIC Drivers

As it happens I down loaded the above drives from the HP website. And they would not install.

So next question what are the integrated NIC's in this machine.

Re: DL 360 NIC Drivers

have you used firmware cd maintenance version 8.6 to update firmwares first
then the software cd rom 8.3 not just a few selected drivers and a reboot in the above order.

Re: DL 360 NIC Drivers

anything thing like /similar to symantec endpoint

This issue occurs when teefer2 driver is installed on a ProLiant Server running Microsoft Windows. Symantec Endpoint Protection 11 includes some new features as Firewall, Intrusion Prevention, Proactive Threat Scanning and Device Application Control. By default it will install the Teefer2 driver.
servers running symantec endpoint
TO FIX:
Device Manager / Show Hidden Devices
DISABLE the Teefer2 driver for the active NICs

Remove/disable the tefer2 from the protocol stack or the network devices on device manage

send screenshot of dev manager nics expanded view
