DL-360 and Smart Start 7.0
I have a DL-360 G3 server that I'm re-building for re-assignment. I'm re-building the unit with the SmartStart 7.0 cd and when it gets to the section for coping the Windows 2003 STD files across it appears to be working but never goes to the next step of re-starting the server. I have let this process run for several hours with the same results. The OS and license have not changed from the original build but I don't recall how long the process took the last time I loaded the server. What should I do next?

Re: DL-360 and Smart Start 7.0
Take a simple step:
Bring memory to min original size Bank A
Verify system ROM 9/15/2004
Run erase Utility
Create Array from F8 and try to Install O/S manually with F6

If any extra Card installed you may want to take them off.

Re: DL-360 and Smart Start 7.0
As a wag I tried a different SmartStart CD and since I only had one copy of the W2003 server CD I copied that to a new disk and then tried the installation again. Now it's working. Go figure.
