DL 360G4P 1611 FAN ZONE FAILURE

Hi,

We have DL360G4P Server.We are getting 1611 FAN Zone Failure error. The Server is under warranty. We have replaced the FAN unit, the same problem. Then we tried replacing the mother board, the same problem. The firmware is the latest. Tried swapping power supply from different DL360 G4P Server, the same issue persists. Can anybody help to resolve this issue.

Hi Simson,

Try following steps.

1. Try clearing the NVRAM using the system maintenance switch S6.

2. If the above steps still don't work.Go ahead with fan assembly repalcement.

We have already tried this option, but not working. Even we tried replacing FAN Assembly. Still the same issue.

Hi Simson!

DL360G4 have 2 fan zone -psu fan zone(only fans in unit 361399-001)and cpu fan zone (unit with fans, power button, usb con 361390-001). Mb you replace good assembly?
