DL 360G4P TOO NOISY
Hi all,
We have a DL360g4p with an extra powersupply, server works a treat, however its extremly noisy, is there any was of telling the fans to slow down or something?

Depending on the Operating System the corresponding Proliant Support Pack or the Management Agents/Health Driver should be installed.
If already installed can check the fan speed in System Management homepage to check if they are operating on Normal Speed or High Speed.

Hi,
check the Room temerature and check the Server component temperature.
Depending on this server increase and decrease the fan speed.
As sugested above from Sumesh do update the PSP and server BIOS because health monitoring is done with server BIOS and health drivers insalled with PSP.
