DL 380 Controller 5Si and 4300 - Logical drive
From the begining the configuration on contr 5si was raid 0+1 on id0,1 raid 5 on id2,3,4,5 and on contr 4300 port3 disk cabinett with raid 5 and 4 disks. I moved the scsi cable from backplain embedded 5Si ctrl to 4300. the problem is that the system now has logical drive 2. I´ve tried everything but I can´t get it to logical drive 1 again. I can now boot the 2003 server but I´m going to rebuild the raid 5 with different stripesize. It´s working until I reboot the server. Non system disk.
I´ve disconnect the 4300 with diskcabinett.
What can I do, because everything I create seems to get logical 1 and when I try to boot. Non system disk.
My config now is now raid 0+1 logical drive 2 and I want to create a new raid 5...

Reinstallation. You can´t change logical drive nr.
