DL 380 G1 with 4 x 300GB is it possible?

I have upgrade the DL 380 G1 firmware to latest version P17 12/18/2002

With SmartStart CD ver 5.40 it can detect 4 x 300GB but when I want to create an RAID 5 array which size about 900GB it can't. It wont go higher than 512GB

How do I overcome this? Do I have to upgrade the Int. Smart Array rom also? which currently is version 1.42 (checked last version is 1.50)

DL380 G1 use Integrated Smart Array Controller. Array size for this controller limited to 502 Gb

Igor, thanks for the link so the limitation is on the Controller. I hv upgrade ISA firmware still can't beyond 502GB

Yes, I can create two logical drive
No problem with since I use RedHat/CentOS. I just create a LVM drive with those 2 logical drive
