DL 380 G3 Generate Ivent ID 11 in Event Log during backup, backup is cancelled

Error occures during Backup, after writing between 60MB to 5GB to the tape.
Tapedrive is a Compaq AIT 35 LVD

Backup Software is Brightstore Arcserve V9.0 Build 2020

Smart array 5i controller firmware has already been upgraded to current Version (Rev B, v2.62)
Windows driver for Smart array 5i is 5.68.0.32
Driver for AIT-Drive is version 2.0.0.1

Any Sugestions? The Server is still in waranty.

When you upgrade driver for SCSI controller, you use PSP or just single driver Update?
What PSP level you have? 6.x 7.x?

Just for curiosity Hard Drive Firmwareâ s up to date?


Would by any chance you have additional controller to try instead using 5i ?

We are using PSP-7.40.

Disks are Compaq BD03675A24, Fw. Rev. HPB3

These disks with that firmware are not listed as incompatible with the current controller firmware.

And no other SCSI controller available atm.
