DL 380 G3 NW 6.5 array driver deactivates.

I have attached a scrn shot of this error from one of my 380's. This has become a problem on several box's. NW6.5 latest 5i firmware, bios firmware and the 7.10 SP. Back up software is HP's Data Protect 5.1 latest build.

I would like to know if anyone has had this problem and if you have found what was causing this and a solution.

On the server, download and run the Novell patch NW56UP3.EXE, which is available at the following URL:

And this is supported for NW6.5?

Ahhh... good eye. The HP document says "6.x" and the Novell docs say 6.0 specifically.

Have you installed 6.5 SP1? There were some of the same fixes in that as well...

Yes, we are at 6.5 SP1. I down loaded the file you told me and look at it. The version of SERVER.EXE in the folder of NW6Sp3 is 8/5/03. NW 6.5 is useing 12/11/03.

I have a case number with HP and they are wondering about Data Protect 5.1 and the version of the CPQRAID.(2.11)

He wanted me to stop DP for a week and see if that would stop the problem. Then trying to back rev the raid driver.
