DL 380 G3 firmware & SAN

I'm trying to connect a realatively new DL380 G3 to an EMC CX600 Clariion SAN. I'm wondering if anyone has done this, and if so, what BIOS was on the DL 380. EMC states that the 8/04/02 BIOS release is required. The server's BIOS is dated 11/25/02. We cannot get the HBA's in the server to sync with the Brocade Fibre switch, and I'm wondering if we need to down-rev the BIOS.

what brocade switch? what firmware rev?
what HBA? Emulex? Which model?

Re: DL 380 G3 firmware & SAN

Ok, I've since found out from Compaq support that the bus on the DL360 G3 is PCI-X, which runs at 133 MHz. The Emulex card (9002L) is only PCI, running at 66MHz. The Compaq support person said that the bus should automatically step down to 66MHz, and if we are still getting time-outs, we likely have a problem with the device driver. He said we need to take that up with Emulex and EMC, so back to square one.
