DL 380 G4 Scsi 64bit

Does anyone know how to tell if the DL380 G4 is running 64bit CPUs

I'm plannig to install windows 2008 R2

How you installed Windows 2008 R2 in this server, the DL 380 G4 with success the first time?

I Just did a install few days ago and this is the first time I tried it on a DL 380 G4. But I have been having problems with the embedded NICs, the HP NC7782.

The problem is that I can't get inbound traffic, I disable the win firewall, applied the latest softpack and NIC drivers and still can't make it work.

As I troubleshooted the NIC problem, I added a third NIC, a HP NC7771 and this seems to be working as expected, I reenabled the win firewall and it works as expected.

I don't know what is the issue with the NICs.. How you encountered a similar behavior with these NICs?

Hello,

W2008 R2 is not supported on this Server as the hardware is old.Also you can check this by
following the Server model main page were all the O/S is shown as supported.
