Sometimes it hard to truck down if crush related to SW or HW
What you can do
1. Is swap HDD from Suspected to less Suspected Server
2. You can swap around between Servers: CPU, Memory, PPM/VRM, Fiber Cards if used
3. Swap riser cage, Voltage Regulator
4. Disable HT (Hyper Treating)
5. Disable some third party services

If you don't see ASR detected message, it could be more HW related, but not mandatory
After complete swapping if problem stay with server, and it can be System board.

It can Crash at any time ├в ┬ж How often ? once twice week, day, month ?

If the server is not getting any ASR messages, then the problem may be related to power.

I'm not necessarily saying this is related to the power getting to the server.

Do these servers both have redundant power supplies installed?

Hi,

anything unusual showing up in the Veritas Storage Foundation log ?
Program Files\VERITAS\VERITAS Object Bus\logs\vxisis.log

Warning: this log can be HUGE

And what do you have for your shared storage?
Are you using VSFW to mirror storage systems ?

Regards,
Stephen

systems ?
No mirroring is crearted on EVA

As for power and other redundancy everything is propperly installed.

I think that the problem with Veritas more and more.
SmartStart testing wasn't able to find any errors in hardware.
