Re: DL 380 G5 ILO license rejected
What I think that is not a license for ilo call your Sales department they can figure that out
or check your invoice it must say if you got a ilo license

Re: DL 380 G5 ILO license rejected
on the license(yellow label) it is clearly written - Intelligent Networking Pack License. This is for sure not an iLO License. You can enter this license in Network Configuration Utility-License Manager and there are fields, it will be maybe accepted ... The license you have is used to enable "more NIC functionality", other teaming types and so on... You need iLO2 license...

Re: DL 380 G5 ILO license rejected
hi all,
clearly understood, both product (INP & ILO) are totally different.
my question are ;
- in DL380 G5, ILO2 chipset embedded right??
- if already embedded, should we still need ILO Advanced Pack license?? -does, just with an ILO2 chipset, we have full functionality of remote?? - i mean, without an Advanced Pack license, we can still remote enabled right??
need help guys,
tks

Re: DL 380 G5 ILO license rejected
Why you have to buy?
There are 3 iLO Licenses.
iLO2 Advanced
iLO2 Select
iLO2 Standard
Normally you get ILO2 Standard license when you buy a server. it has limited functionalities. You can manage the server not in a effective way.
Do spare a time and look into all the 3 licenses and their option and make the decesion.
