Do you currently have any cache module installed on the E200i (should be a 64MB)?

If Yes, to upgrade the Smart Array E200/64 Controller to 128MB BBWC, you have to order PN 351580-B21.

This will include battery & 128 MB cache module.

Re: DL 380 G5 Smart Array E200i, BBWC ?

I think I might have been asking the wrong question. The problem I am having, I do not get the opption for a raid 5 configuration, your answers you all privided of this question led me in into a deeper surch. It looks like the E200i has the 64MB write cache and only supports 0-1. I will need to either purchase the 128 write cache w/wo BBWC or a new controller. I will have to price my options, thanks for your help. If I have other options please feel free to give me some input.

Thanks,
Matt

You are right, and that's why I mentioned in my second post to go for the option kit that will upgrade the E200i controller.
