DL 380 G5 sending snmp after hot plugged a disk
Hi Guys,
During a OS upgrade from RHEL 4.2 to RHEL 4.8, I have removed one of the hard disk (servers has only 2 disks with RAID1) and place back after update the OS successfully. But Since then we receive below alarms cont.

Issue is even after 2 days we still receive the alarm. This is happening on two servers. So far no issue in the server or OS. Please advice

it would be good if you could take a look in the ACU - and check the status of the array/logical drive 1 in there.
If possible, an ADU report would also come in handy.

Thank for the help. Issue I am facing here is these messages were create after/during hot plugging the disk1 to bay1. It seems the cmaeventd continuously sending the same snmp over and over again. Below is the complete messages received to snmp server.

snmp message - "serv1 in Jul 19 09:59:41 serv1 Event Log Daemon:[5033]: Logical drive 1 of Embedded Array Controller, has changed from status RECOVERING to OK"
Same issue can be seen in another server also. which was also had a hot puged disk after OS upgrade.
From disk-1 I wasn't able to find any issue so far.

Tried restarting the daemon? Maybe the OS update did some changes to this daemon? A configuration change?
Are there any HP agents installed? Maybe those needs to be updated too?
