Our OS is windows server 2003 enterprise edition. The server gets frozen when quite often.Although we can get ping replies from the server, we cannot browse on it or connect with Remote Desktop. We can only reboot it manualy.
Can anyone help me about this?

Re: DL 380 G5
The symptoms are the following:
-When we run large sql queries or analysis services reports the server is not responding.
-we dont find any event in the windows event viewer that it indicates that something went wrong.
-The cpu usage is quite normal (it never reaches 100%)
-Our total memory is 8gb
So is this a HW problem ,a software problem (i mean sql server) or windows problem
Many Thanks for your help

Re: DL 380 G5
Are you aware by default you can't use 8GB RAM on that OS?

Have you installed Service Pack 2?
