DL 380 G6 Smart Array P410i Integrated

with the basic model of dl 380 g6 when i install OS win 2003 Re Ent of RAID 1 and creates with 4 No of 300 GB RAID 1+0 the OS doest boot if i removes the 4 hard disks which they are in RAID 1+0 OS works fine if i but them back OS will not boot NO disk, NO SYSTEM Disk PLEASE HELP

hi salemhp to install do this
select your os from here

then get firmware cd 8.6 boot from it and update all firmware when done

get the software psp cd vers cd8.3 boot from this create array and install operating system this is the preferred way to setup a dl 380 g6 this cd will guide you with wizzards etc..


if you have issues you can boot from the software cd too as it is also a diagnostic cd too

i have done the same as u told but still it not working

ok, make sure in bios you have selected correct controller for boot , press F10 and save the selection ,

now what happens


if same issue
press f8 are all disks seen in controller , are any diks seen by conroller ,
if only 2 are seen make sure disks are on left side on top of each other,,,

if all disks are seen by controller but it will not boot from them

remove all disks first press f8 erase array config ,

insert disks and boot what happens now >>>

Thanks mark if i do what u told system will boot up if array in the second cage is configured system will not boot.
