Re: DL 380 G6 and Centos 6.2
Hi,
This could be a bug in either operating system or in BIOS or some compatibility issue.
A similar issue is discussed here: http://h20000.www2.hp.com/bizsupport/TechSupport/Document.jsp?objectID=c02911009
I would suggest to update the BIOS on the server and test.
Thank You!

Re: DL 380 G6 and Centos 6.2
Have the same problem with 12 Proliant DL 380 G7s running Red Hat 6.2 and the latest available BIOS. Seems to be a problem with HP Bios.

Re: DL 380 G6 and Centos 6.2
This is just a message that gets logged, it does not effect the performance of the server. The OS is trying to use a counter that the BIOS is using.

Re: DL 380 G6 and Centos 6.2
"HP is working on a permanent solution for HP Gen8 servers" ... only G8 or will a fix be developed for G6 and G7 as well?
