DL 380 G6 -- will it support the Octo-Core Nehalem EX CPUs?

This machine -- which recently published Linux / Oracle 11G TPC results of 600,000 + TPMC and can go up to 144GB of DDR3 Memory is such a compelling reason to do the Linux switcharoo.

2 Sockets, 8-Core, 16-Threads with HT is probably more than enough for some mid to large DBs -- but will this eventually support the up coming Nehalem EX Octo-Cores?

There is still a lack of quad socket Nehalem systems out there right now.Maybe the Nehalem-EX will address those 16-way, 32-thread needs?
