DL 380G4 with Smart Array 6i + HP 1/8 Ultrium 232 Tape Autoloader

I have a DL 380G4 with Smart Array 6, with two HD 72 GB in a raid 1+0 configuration, using windows 2003 Server R2.

I also have a HP 1/8 Ultrium 232 Tape Autoloader. connected in the external extension SCSI port of the SA6i.

But i recieved cpqcissm driver error at Windows event viewer while testing the unit

questions:
1.- Can I connect the ultrium wat the SA6i external connector?

The smart array support Hard drives and tape drives only

Check the support matrix, for supported SCSI HBA's for the autoloader
